Making a Major Gift?

Donations of $18,000 or more, for a classroom or a complete school, deserve a more direct conversation. We'll walk you through the process and make sure your gift is recognized and used exactly the way you intend.

BAS also accepts donations of appreciated stock. Donating securities directly can often be more tax-efficient than selling first and giving cash: you avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation, and you receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value on the date of transfer. BAS receives 100% of the value*.

Please reach out directly and we'll be in touch within 24 hours:  donations@buildafricanschools.org

All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by U.S. law. You will receive a receipt , no goods or services are provided in exchange for your gift.
